When our children are asked who they are and who they will be there must be no hesitation, no shrinking, no apology. Only pride.

We thought we were choosing a school. In reality, we were choosing whether our daughter could live openly as a Jew. Everything we believed in meritocracy, integration, the quiet confidence of belonging collapsed after October 7. That day didn’t just change the world; it exposed it. The question was no longer which school would prepare her for success, but where she could remain unapologetically herself.
