For Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, “Again Is Now”

“Addressing deep intra-party divides over Israel ahead of the general election, Michigan’s Democratic Attorney General Dana Nessel urged a private gathering of Jewish Democrats to place the needs of “the rest of humanity” above their own “safety and security.”

As a Gentile who has been watching anti-Semitism grow in America and then explode immediately after October 7, 2023, when Hamas committed the worst atrocity against the Jewish people since the Holocaust, I am amazed and frustrated that some Jews in the US have thrown Israel under the bus and linked arms with the people who support Hamas, people who not only hate Israel, but hate Jews as well. I could not understand it before October 7th, 2023, but today, it has become dumbfounding.

Take Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel (D), for example. On August 30, she addressed a group of Michigan Jewish Democrats in Birmingham, Michigan, outside Detroit, and said some pretty outrageous things, saying that Jews should place the needs of humanity above their own safety and security!

“The Detroit News, Nessel invoked the story of Queen Esther to argue that Jewish Democrats have a “moral imperative to place the needs of the world above even our own self-interest,” urging attendees to “sacrifice the comfort, safety and security and even the very future of our own people in exchange for the opportunity to save the rest of humanity.”

She even evoked climate change in reference to Israel, and, of course, bashed Trump.
