Zionist’s Guide to the World Cup–Day 374

To paraphrase Thomas Carlyle once more:  History bids her mute adieu to the 2026 World Cup.

When the 2022 World Cup in Qatar concluded, the Zionist’s Guide to the World Cup (ZGWC) noted the hypocrisy of the world enjoying its soccer in stadiums built on the bones of numerous foreign workers.  The Qatar World Cup was conceived with bribery and executed with moral cynicism.  That being said, the matches were exciting–which is all the world really cares about.  Argentina won that World Cup over the French.  For the ZGWC, the then Peronist-led Argentina were scorned, while the Emmanuel Macron-led France were favored.  Naturally, in 2022, Macron still retained some integrity.  All-in-all, the ZGWC left the 2022 with a sour taste in its mouth.

The ZGWC will compare the the 2022 World Cup experience with that of 2026, but first let’s review today’s final.

Never before in ZGWC history has there been such a convergence of a team with real potential to win and a team representing a country with a pro-Israel foreign policy.  In this World Cup, Argentina occupied a unique position.  The Albiceleste progressed through the knockout rounds........
