Mark Cuban's $6M sale taught him one rule about time
The day Mark Cuban sold his first company, he took off his watch and decided never to wear one again. A watch, he reasoned, meant he was working on somebody else's time.
Cuban told The Diary of a CEO podcast, hosted by Steven Bartlett, that the habit began with the 1990 sale of software company MicroSolutions. Fortune says the deal made him about $2 million, and it launched his career.
Why Mark Cuban took off his watch?
Getting rich was never really the goal, he said. He hated being broke and wanted to "control my own time". His parents never had that........
