Sam Altman's Artifcial intelligence (AI) platform firm OpenAI has dismissed safety worker following recent data leaks incidents.

OpenAI has dismissed three researchers from its safety team following an internal security investigation that concluded the staffers mishandled confidential company information.

The ChatGPT-maker did not name the sacked workers, but at least two of them were involved in safety research at the firm.

As reported by BBC, OpenAI spokesperson said, "Our investigation confirmed that these individuals mishandled sensitive information outside established company procedures, violating our policies and breaking the trust essential to our work."
