Liverpool sack Arne Slot despite Premier League title as club opts for ‘new direction’

In a surprising move, Liverpool has sacked head coach Arne Slot after two seasons in charge.

The decision comes despite Slot’s impressive efforts helping Liverpool to win its 20th League title in his first season. However, in second year, he faced setbacks in the Premier League.

The decision was taken by FSG’s CEO Michael Edwards and Liverpool’s sporting director Richard Hughes.
