The US Navy is committing millions of dollars to get hypersonic missiles sooner. Earlier this week, the Navy awarded Castelion nearly $90 million to accelerate production of the Blackbeard hypersonic missile. The contract award is part of the US military’s wider effort to expand critical munition production to meet current and future threats.
