The USS North Dakota (SSN-784) spent the last 40 months undergoing $347 million in maintenance at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine.

The USS North Dakota (SSN-784) recently completed more than $347 million in maintenance and returned to the fleet.

The Repairs to the USS North Dakota 

Over the last 40 months, crews at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine, made structural inspections, replaced mechanical and electrical systems, and repaired other parts of the USS North Dakota. This was the first Virginia-class Block III availability completed.
