The large undersea drone was christened on May 1—with the traditional champagne bottle broken across the bow by a robotic arm, a sign of the changing times.

The US Navy has received a new undersea drone that can strike at Chinese warships and scout Russian ports.

On May 1, the Navy and Australian C2 Robotics announced the commissioning of the Speartooth Large Uncrewed Undersea Vehicle (LUUV).
