President Donald Trump is clearly someone who thinks about his architectural legacy. For better or worse, he has left his mark on Washington, DC, like few other presidents. This has included the enormous banners bearing his face that have graced several federal properties, the partial renaming of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts after himself, and, most recently, the repainting of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in a no-bid contract that raised eyebrows on Capitol Hill and in the media.
