One year after President Trump’s nuclear executive orders, federal reforms are helping turn decades of advanced nuclear promise into commercially viable projects.

The cultural shift in the federal government’s approach to deploying nuclear energy is palpable. While nuclear energy has in recent years enjoyed bipartisan support for a number of policy initiatives and financial incentives, President Donald Trump and his administration have accelerated this support by signing four Executive Orders in May 2025 as part of the broader push for American Energy Dominance.

Subsequent reforms and initiatives at the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the Department of Energy (DOE), and the Department of Defense (DOD) have provided invaluable opportunities for innovation and the deployment of nuclear energy technologies. Beyond the benefits that Natura Resources and other companies stand to gain from these positive policy shifts, the maturation and growth of these strategically important technologies will yield tremendous benefits for the broader country as we seek to meet growing demands for energy and other resources unlocked by nuclear technology.

Natura’s technology platforms are focused on addressing the nation’s needs for clean energy, medical isotopes, and water resources. The company’s molten salt reactor (MSR) technology is derived largely from the successful Molten Salt Reactor Experiment (MSRE) activities conducted at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in the 1960’s. The MSRE is just one example of where the government provided critical support for advancing nuclear energy technologies to a point at which they can be commercialized for society’s benefit. Natura is one of several companies simultaneously benefiting from past government initiatives and renewed government support for the deployment of new nuclear energy technologies.

Nuclear Supply Chain and Fuel Cycle Advancement

In September 2024, Natura’s Molten Salt Research Reactor (MSRR), also referred to as the Natura MSR-1, became the first liquid-fueled MSR to receive a construction permit from the US NRC. Since receiving the construction permit, Natura and its university partner—Abilene Christian University—have been aggressively working to procure key........
