In early August, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) signed a deal with US-based AI cloud platform Together AI to build a 10,000-GPU Nvidia cluster in Chennai, worth up to Rs 15,000 crore. E2E Networks—the Indian GPU cloud provider L&T once saw as its route into AI compute—was nowhere near the deal. 

Odd, because this is exactly the kind of business L&T had found in E2E when it paid Rs 1,079 crore for a 21% stake in the listed Indian cloud provider in 2024.
