“So you’re the enemy.” That’s what a Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) engineer heard, not from a rival but a colleague worried about losing their job. Though said in jest, there was some truth to it. The engineer, after all, works for Digitate, the TCS venture responsible for Ignio, an AI platform that’s becoming one of the Tata Group company’s main engines to run IT and business processes for its clients.
