Disney unveils new cruise ship set to debut in 2027: Disney Believe

(NewsNation) — Disney has announced the newest addition to its growing cruise line: the Disney Believe, set to debut in late 2027.

The ship was announced at Disney’s annual shareholders meeting on Wednesday by new CEO Josh D’Amaro. It is dedicated “to those dreamers and doers who dare to pursue their own happily ever after,” the company said in a release.

The Disney Believe will be the fourth entry in its Wish class of ships, which each have distinct designs and activities based on stories from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.

The ship will feature its own unique themes and motifs centered around “promise and possibilities,” based on characters and stories from some of Disney’s most iconic movies, including “Encanto,” “Frozen,” “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “Moana” and “The Little Mermaid,” according to the release.

“Onboard the Disney Believe, powerful tales of characters who believe in themselves and their dreams will come to life in exciting new ways,” the company said.

The Believe is part of an expanding fleet of Disney cruise ships. The Disney Adventure, which is separate from the Wish fleet, recently set sail for its first voyage on March 10.
