Watch live: Trump highlights Memphis crime task force
President Trump will travel to Memphis, Tenn., Monday to highlight a crime task force established last year.
Trump formed the Memphis Safe Task Force last September in order to replicate the federal law enforcement crackdown in Washington, D.C., in the Tennessee city.
“This task force will be a replica of our extraordinary successful efforts here [in D.C.] and you’ll see it’s a lot of the same thing,” Trump said in the Oval Office in September while flanked by Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee (R) and GOP Tennessee Sens. Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty.
Trump’s Monday remarks are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. EDT. Watch in the video player above.
