FBI Director Kash Patel will testify before the Senate Appropriations Committee on Tuesday afternoon on the agency’s fiscal 2027 budget request.

President Trump’s request includes $12.5 billion to fund FBI salaries and expenses, according to the White House. The Trump administration, per the release, also “remains committed to dismantling the web of weaponization spun by the Biden Administration.”
