Trump congratulates New York Knicks on NBA Championship victory

President Trump congratulated the New York Knicks on their first NBA Championship win in over 50 years.

“Congratulations to Jim Dolan and the New York Knicks!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social early Sunday, referencing the Madison Square Garden Sports CEO who owns the Knicks. “What a year it has been but, even more so, what incredible playoff wins we have all witnessed, especially the last four – Maybe the greatest in the history of basketball.”

The Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs 94-90 in Game 5 of the championship series Saturday, rallying from a 16-point deficit to beat the Texas team in The Alamo City.
