Carville blasts Trump as ‘completely disjointed’ after election fraud speech

Democratic strategist James Carville on Friday criticized President Trump following his primetime speech this week, in which the president claimed that the U.S. election system needed urgent attention for vulnerabilities. 

Carville joined Republicans in opposing the decision of several major broadcasters not to take the president’s remarks live on air. NBC News, ABC News and CNN all opted to carry the address on streaming platforms or play clips on air paired with expert commentary. 

“I think it’s newsworthy when you watch the president of the United States sit there and tell multiple lies in a speech that makes no sense, is completely disjointed and I think people need to see that,” Carville told NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo.
