President Trump blasted Republican strategist Karl Rove on Monday, calling former President George W. Bush’s White House adviser “so bad for the Republican Party.”

Rove received Trump’s ire after he said he will vote for Democrat Jon Rosenthal to serve on the Texas Railroad Commission after GOP candidate Bo French wrote a post about University of Texas at Austin students of South Asian descent, a post students described as “blatantly racist.”

“Karl Rove is so bad for the Republican Party, and completely wrong so often,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “He suffers from a major case of Trump Derangement Syndrome primarily because, for almost 10 years, I beat back and won against so many of the people and things that he wanted and espoused.”
