Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy on Tuesday said President Trump tapped her husband, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, “because that was all that’s left.”

The two were interviewed on “The Katie Miller Podcast,” hosted by the wife of White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller. The host asked about their conversation after Trump nominated Duffy.

“He said he wanted to serve the president in any way,” Campos-Duffy said. “He ended up in Transportation because that was all that’s left.”
