CNN stunned at shock poll: voters trust GOP more on Iran War 

The political situation in Washington, D.C., may shift rapidly, but one undeniable and unshakeable truth has emerged in recent years, one still borne out by polling: voters don’t trust the Democrats at all. They don’t like Democrats. And as unpopular as aspects of the Trump administration may be, it’s still the case that the American people are incredibly reluctant to return Democrats to power.  

This is true, even on an issue where the Trump administration is comparatively weak. I’m talking about the Iran War.  

It’s true that the American people have real questions about the advisability of the course of action Trump has taken. We don’t like living with higher gas prices, and we don’t like seeing American soldiers killed in yet another war in the Middle East.
