House Republican: Graham should ‘have his Oval Office credentials revoked’
Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.) suggested Wednesday that Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) should have less access to President Trump as the conflict with Iran persists.
“I absolutely think he should have his Oval Office credentials revoked,” Cammack told Migrant Insider’s Pablo Manríquez as she departed the Capitol.
Graham, a staunch foreign policy hawk who has openly supported the U.S. military operation in the Middle East, is a frequent guest at the White House and often travels with Trump. On Monday, he and Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) met with the president and newly minted Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin — before the latter was confirmed and sworn in — in the Oval Office.

The South Carolina Republican also frequently travels to Israel. Earlier this month, he told The Wall Street Journal that before the U.S. and Israel launched strikes on Iran, he met with members of Tel Aviv’s intelligence agency and coached Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on how to convince Trump to go to war.
Graham also strongly supported the January operation to capture former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and has recently called for regime change in Cuba.
He even told host Shannon Bream on “Fox News Sunday” over the weekend that the U.S. should “take” Kharg Island, a critical oil depot for Iran.
“We did Iwo Jima. We can do this,” the senator said, referring to the 1945 battle that resulted in the deaths of more than 6,000 U.S. troops.
His rhetoric has garnered backlash from Democrats as well as multiple House Republicans.
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), who opposes troops on the ground in Iran, wrote Wednesday on social platform X, “Washington’s war machine is hard at work. They are try to drag us into Iran to make it another Iraq. We can’t let them.”
Later in the day, Mace clarified, “And yes, when we say Washington’s war machine, we mean Lindsey Graham.”
