Trump to campaign with Husted in Ohio

President Trump will campaign with incumbent Ohio Sen. Jon Husted (R) in Youngstown next week, marking his second trip to Ohio in a month as the incumbent faces an uphill climb in the Buckeye State.

The Oct. 12 rally comes as several polls show Husted trailing former Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio). A New York Times/Siena College poll released on Saturday showed Brown leading Husted 49 to 46 percent among likely voters. Brown’s lead fell within the plus or minus 4.5 percent margin of error.

The same survey showed Trump’s approval rating in the state at 38 percent while his disapproval was at 60 percent.

Trump hit the campaign trail with Husted on Saturday, stumping in the Dayton suburb of Vandalia. The Hill was the first national outlet to report on next........
