Trump says China agreed to buy soybeans, energy, Boeing jets

President Trump told Fox News that Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed to purchase soybeans, energy and jets during the two leaders’ bilateral meeting in Beijing on Thursday. 

According to Fox News, Trump told host Sean Hannity that Xi committed to helping the U.S. with Iran, buy U.S. soybeans, buy more oil and liquified natural gas and other energy. Additionally, Xi said China would purchase 200 737 Boeing jets.

The full interview is set to air on Thursday evening. 

Boeing had previously been negotiating a deal to sell 500 737 Max jets to China. The company’s CEO Kelly Ortberg is in Beijing with Trump.
