Netanyahu vows ‘very, very forceful’ response if Iran attacks Israel

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that if Iran attacks Israel directly or indirectly, it would make for a “terrible mistake.”

“I should say it very, very clearly,” Netanyahu told Fox News’s Maria Bartiromo in a “Sunday Morning Futures” interview. “If Iran attacks Israel, either directly or through proxies, either with ballistic missiles or UAVs or killer drones, it will make a terrible mistake. Because our response, Israel’s response, will be very, very forceful.”

The Israeli prime minister’s comments come after a recent uptick in hostilities between the U.S. and Iran following the collapse of the memorandum of understanding between the two countries. President Trump has reportedly considered a “massive” attack on Iran and a potential return to major military operations, but also told reporters on Friday........
