Police seek men who attacked Spurs fan after Knicks loss

NEW YORK (WPIX) — Police are asking for the public’s help in searching for multiple men accused of attacking a San Antonio Spurs fan after the New York Knicks lost Monday.

The New York City Police Department released multiple photos of the suspects believed to be involved in the incident.

The men allegedly threw punches and kicked the victim before tearing off the Spurs jersey he was wearing, according to the NYPD. The incident occurred at around 12:17 a.m., police say.

The 39-year-old victim was walking to his hotel when the group approached him. After the beating, the group fled on foot to an unknown location, according to police.

The victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries. He is........
