As the fog of misinformation and long-standing negative propaganda begins to fade, a new reality is emerging: Pakistan is no longer peripheral to global crises; it is gradually assuming centrality in their management. This shift, however, is not without its contradictions — both stakeholders welcome this role, and spoilers are determined to undermine it.
