House GOP Launches Reconciliation 3.0 to Advance SAVE Act, Fund Defense

House Republicans have released a budget resolution that aims to protect the nation and its elections.

The nearly $100 billion budget resolution text dropped early Wednesday morning, acting as the launchpad for what’s been dubbed “Reconciliation 3.0.”

The text, worked through with House leadership, the House Budget Committee, and the White House, hopes to accomplish two goals: enact aspects of the SAVE America Act and provide supplemental funding to strengthen and defend the American homeland.

The House hopes to adopt the resolution by next week.

The House GOP budget resolution instructs four committees to write reconciliation legislation: the House Administration Committee, at $10 billion for SAVE America; the House Armed Services Committee, at $60 billion; the House Intelligence Committee, at $13 billion, both for........
