Why State Department Says Cuba Poses Massive Threat to United States

For seven decades, Cuba has funded political terrorists seeking to take down the United States, according to a new report from the State Department.
The State Department released a report Monday saying that Cuba has deeply penetrated the American political institutions, leftist organizations, universities, and even spy networks.
The report highlighted alleged Cuban espionage, saying the regime “perfected a new model for a long war of attrition, organized around espionage, infiltration, sabotage, proxy networks, and a revolutionary infrastructure designed to turn America against itself.”
In March, Trump said “Cuba is next” while discussing the success of the U.S. military operation in Venezuela, which captured the country’s dictator Nicolas Maduro.
