The House’s Harness Race of the Horrible

previous day

When I was little, I lived down the street from Rosecroft Raceway, a harness racing track just outside the Washington Beltway.

Occasionally, we’d go watch the races at night or simply hear the race calls and roar of the crowd echo through the neighborhood.

When the wind was right you could smell the manure from the stables.

Watching today’s Democrats, I’m reminded of those harness races … except the stench is more intense.

Right now, you’re seeing among Democratic congressional members a harness race to determine who can be the most spiteful, antagonistic, and loathsome toward Republicans. And the battle down the stretch is fierce.

The field for the race alone includes Reps. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas; Maxine Waters, D-Calif.; a new entry onto the track, Rep. Jimmy Gomez, D-Calif.

We’re talking about small people whipping up the harnessed Democrat voter remnant, whose blinders are firmly fixed as together they race around the track, going nowhere quickly.

Let’s start with Gomez. During a recent House Intelligence Committee hearing, Gomez actually asked Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and CIA chief John Ratcliffe if Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth was boozing it up during the now-infamous Signal chat.

California Democrat Jimmy Gomez goes LOW, suggests @petehegseth was drinking during a text discussion on the Houthis

And @CIADirector Ratcliffe LETS HIM HAVE IT
