Trump shows signs of wavering. We know the man loves polls and we also know that it’s an enthusiastic bipartisan pastime to hate feds who kill Americans.

At this moment in history, however, we desperately need Diamond Hands Don to HODL. In Minneapolis, the political right is on the precipice of the kind of total victory we haven’t seen in decades. The information coming out of the city is far worse than we could ever imagine.

It represents an unparalleled opportunity, but again, Trump cannot blink.

In a widely cited interview with the WSJ, Trump said the administration was “reviewing everything,” including potentially pulling ICE from the streets and leaving certain, lower-visibility investigative elements in place to handle the fraud.

His comments were largely a result of public backlash over the death of activist Alex Pretti. I intend to break that killing down in detail tomorrow, so for now I want to stay with what’s at stake in Minneapolis.
