For Bapusaheb Gaikwad, that dream was born out of watching his parents’ sacrifices up close.

Growing up amid hardship

Bapusaheb Gaikwad grew up in a poor village where every day was a test of endurance for his family. His mother spent long hours working in other people’s homes — washing utensils, helping in mess kitchens, and sometimes cleaning houses. Despite the blisters on her hands and her constant exhaustion, she had only one worry on her mind: making sure her children never went to bed hungry.

His father worked as a watchman at construction sites. Many nights, he had to stay awake guarding the premises.........
