Wales Millennium Centre spring line-up announced
The Wales Millennium Centre has announced its spring theatre line-up, featuring a range of productions in the Donald Gordon Theatre.
Kicking off on March 17, Lee Mead will star as P.T. Barnum in Barnum, promising an extraordinary spectacle with over 20 actor-musicians, acrobats, and circus acts.
Next, from April 20, Priscilla Queen of the Desert hits the stage, with a cast including Adèle Anderson and Kevin Clifton, bringing a story of friendship across the Australian Outback.
The Spy Who Came In From The Cold will be presented for the first time ever as a stage adaptation, starting April 28, starring Ralf Little.
Following this, the all-male comedy ballet company Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, affectionately known as “The Trocks”, will perform on May 12 and 13. The company, originally from New York, has been entertaining audiences for nearly 50 years with their unique blend of classical ballet parody.
From May 14, the theatre will host Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, recounting the life of rock 'n' roll legend, Buddy Holly.
Then comes The Choir of Man from May 19, a smash hit from the West End, on its first UK tour.
May 26 welcomes Sunny Afternoon, celebrating the iconic British band, The Kinks.
June 2 sees the return of Miss Saigon, a production following the love story between a 17-year-old Saigon bar worker and an American GI during the Vietnam War.
On June 8, Waitress will take the stage, starring Carrie Hope Fletcher together with a host of notable co-stars.
Finally, from June 16, Legally Blonde The Musical will entertain audiences with Amber Davies as Elle Woods.
Each production offers unique stories and performances, ensuring a diverse theatrical experience for Cardiff audiences this spring.
