Who will replace Dani Dyer on Strictly Come Dancing? BBC drama star in ‘talks’
Last night (September 23), former Love Island star Dani Dyer announced she had pulled out of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing due to fracturing her ankle during rehearsals last week.
But already, it’s been reported that a star from Waterloo Road who is quite familiar with Strictly is in “talks” to become Dani’s replacement, just days before the first live show of the series.
Following Dani’s statement last night, bosses are allegedly having discussions with actress Tillie Amartey.
The 22-year-old who has played Stacey Neville on the BBC drama since 2024, is no stranger to the world of Strictly as she took part in the Christmas special back in 2023.
The actress was paired with Neil Jones but lost to EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick and his professional dance partner Nancy Xu.
