An iconic soap actor and singer is set to make a cameo appearance in an upcoming episode of Emmerdale.

Jason Donovan, who rose to fame playing Scott Robinson in Australian soap Neighbours, will be appearing in an episode of the ITV show.

Filming has taken place on the Emmerdale set in Leeds, with the episode set to broadcast later this year.
