Ed Sheeran will be the subject of a new Netflix special made by the director of Adolescence.

Titled 'One Shot With Ed Sheeran', the Suffolk-based singer will be captured performing some of his biggest hits in one single, continuous take, the signature style of the special's director Philip Barantini.

Barantini was behind the hugely popular Netflix series Adolescence.

The musical special, set for release next month, will follow Ed in New York during one afternoon, performing in real-time while interacting with fans and passersby.
