Soap fans have been left laughing after a deleted scene that did not make it into the Corriedale crossover has been revealed.

The hour-long ITV special, combining characters from Corrie and Emmerdale, aired on Monday.

It was centred around a huge crash, with two characters shockingly killed off and another big name returning.

But it is a "hilarious" deleted scene that viewers have also been enjoying.

Ahead of the special crossover episode, fans could vote for the 'dream duo' of characters from both soaps they wanted to see in a scene together.

Charity Dingle and Carla Connor won, with the duo meeting in the hospital after sustaining injuries in the crash.
