The host of Saturday Kitchen has been confirmed as a new judge on MasterChef: The Professionals.

Matt Tebbutt will join Marcus Wareing and Monica Galetti on the next series of the cooking show.

The 51-year-old is said to have a wealth of experience in the restaurant industry as well as in TV and authoring cookbooks

Speaking about his new role to BBC Media, Tebbutt said: “It’s an absolute honour to be working alongside these two titans of the food world.
