A new thriller series will be airing on BBC One very soon, starring Gabrielle Creevy and Eve Myles.

The Guest will revolve around the relationship between a successful business owner, Fran (Myles), and her employee, Ria (Creevy).

The mini-series is written by Matthew Barry, who is known for his work on Industry and Men Up, while director Ashley Way leads production behind the camera.

A synopsis on the Radio Times website adds: "A shocking event leaves two very different women's lives intertwined by shared secrets and dangerous plots.

"When cleaner Ria is hired by mysterious businesswoman Fran, an unlikely friendship is formed. But when Fran's advice leads to tragedy, Ria's life is changed forever."
