Emmerdale fans have begged for a "dire" storyline to be finished on the show, as it's a "waste of good characters".

Viewers of the ITV soap have seemingly grown bored of a plot strand related to Charity Dingle (played by Emma Atkins) and her granddaughter Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill).

This element of the programme has seen Sarah wanting to fulfil her dream of becoming a mum amid.

It's come after she recently underwent an emergency hysterectomy amid complications during her cancer surgery.
