Legendary SF dive bar is now for sale at $235K

With a colorful history dating back to 1908, the Hotel Utah Saloon has lived many lives. Now, the historic SoMa dive bar and music venue is ready to start another one: After more than 20 years of running the bar, Andrea Cochran tells SFGATE that she and co-owners Mohamed Bacchus and Damian Samuel are looking to sell.
“At some point, people start thinking about retiring and moving on and doing something different,” Cochran said in a phone call Friday. “And it’s just a feeling that a music venue probably periodically needs revitalization and new people.”
