Heat advisory issued as East Bay could see highs near 107

Parts of the East and North Bay are under a heat advisory on Monday as temperatures could push past 105 degrees, and even overnight temperatures aren’t expected to provide much relief. 

Matt Mehle, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service, told SFGATE that the Bay Area is expected to see the highest temperatures Monday afternoon around 4 p.m.

“We’re expecting temperatures to reach well over 100 degrees, with the hottest locations right around about 106 to 107,” he said.
