Once-booming Calif. barbecue chain down to last location after 77 years
Chris’ & Pitt’s in Los Angeles, April 9, 2011.
A seminal Southern California barbecue joint, once heralded for its saucy ribs and more than a dozen restaurants, has said goodbye to its second-to-last location this week after 75 years in business.
Chris’ & Pitt’s is known throughout the Southland for its log cabin vibes and timeless menu of ribs, steaks, burgers and beef or pulled pork sandwiches.
