PARK CITY, UTAH — There aren’t many people who can boast that they’ve claimed a whole summer, but it’s hard to argue with the fact that the summer of 2024 belonged to British singer Charli XCX. “Brat summer,” named after her most recent album, was an all-encompassing cultural phenomenon, the slime-green of her album cover pervading pop culture so thoroughly that it was adopted by Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign.
