A woman who was found trapped in a well in a remote area of Humboldt County died, according to two local news outlets.

Emergency crews were sent to a property on the 9000 block of Dyerville Loop Road in the Fruitland Ridge area on Wednesday after a 911 call reported a woman trapped in a well, Erin Inskip, a spokesperson for the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, told the Eureka Times-Standard.
