Spring planting season is an amazing aspect of farming

Spring planting season is an amazing aspect of farming. In Southwestern Ontario, with our favourable climate and fertile soil, we are fortunate to be able to grow 80 different food crops.

Germination is the growth of a plant contained within a seed, forming a seedling. Most seeds go through a period of dormancy with no active growth until conditions are favourable.
