Zuckerberg’s $300 million superyacht was closest to a stranded boat. It didn’t respond

Mark Zuckerberg's superyacht was the closest vessel to a small skiff that ran out of fuel in Southeast Alaska last week, but its crew did not hear the radio call for assistance — and by the time they did, another ship had already responded, a spokesperson for the Meta $META CEO said.

The 21-foot skiff called the U.S. Coast Guard for help just after 9:30 p.m. on Monday, August 4, between Petersburg and Juneau, according to the Alaska........
