On Wednesday, DeepSeek announced a partnership with Huawei Technologies aimed at building programming tools tailored to Huawei's Ascend chips, the latest move by Chinese tech firms to establish alternatives to Nvidia $NVDA's software ecosystem, according to Reuters.

The Hangzhou-based AI firm shared the news via its official WeChat account, disclosing that it has made six software modules available as open source for Huawei's Ascend platform, among them libraries........
