Automaker EV charging coalition IONNA has more than doubled its U.S. network in 2026

The automaker-backed network now has more than 180 sites nationwide and ranked first among DC fast chargers in J.D. Power's 2026 satisfaction study

IONNA, the EV charging network founded by eight automakers, announced Wednesday that it has surpassed 180 live charging sites across the U.S., more than doubling its footprint since the start of 2026. The company also earned the top ranking among DC fast chargers in J.D. Power's 2026 U.S. Electric Vehicle Experience Public Charging Study in the first year it was eligible for the ranking.

IONNA's eight founding members are BMW, General Motors $GM, Honda $HMC, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis........
