Trump traded tech stocks worth hundreds of millions ahead of favorable policy moves

New ethics filings show the president bought Nvidia, AMD, and Axon shares days before his administration issued favorable decisions for each company

New disclosure forms show that more than 3,700 transactions were recorded under President Donald Trump's name in the first quarter of 2026, spanning stocks such as Nvidia $NVDA, Microsoft $MSFT, Amazon $AMZN, and Meta $META. Taken together, the disclosed trades carry a cumulative estimated value somewhere between $220 million and $750 million.

The timing of several purchases coincided with favorable regulatory decisions from the Trump administration. A purchase of between $1 million and $5 million in Nvidia shares was recorded on Feb. 10, seven days before the chipmaker unveiled a major processing-power deal with Meta, according to NOTUS.........
